Franchise
Build Fire & Knives in your community.
We have just begun franchising and are growing deliberately, focusing on select geographies and people with service-oriented backgrounds.
We're hearing from people who want to bring Fire & Knives to their communities. We're taking time to find the right owners and support each new launch. Teachers, coaches, firefighters, outdoor educators, and military veterans are our priority.
Teach. Build relationships. Grow something local.
As a local owner, you'll teach outdoor skills, build relationships with schools and recreation departments, and grow a business helping kids discover what they can do.
You'll work with kids, earn the trust of families and program directors, and handle the day-to-day work of building a local business. Sound judgment, reliability, and a willingness to build relationships matter as much as enthusiasm for the outdoors.
Who we're looking for
We are prioritizing five backgrounds. None is required, and your background does not replace training or settle whether it is a fit. You do not have to be an outdoor expert; we train the skills. What matters is that you believe kids are capable and you want the next generation to feel a real connection to nature.
Teachers
You know kids, you have school relationships, and you have summers.
Coaches
You run a group, you read a kid, and families already trust you with theirs.
Firefighters and first responders
The community already trusts you, and fire safety is your credential.
Outdoor educators and camp professionals
You have run programs. Now you can own one.
Military veterans
Discipline, calm under pressure, and a habit of taking care of the people in front of you.
